 COAT

For my coat I started by pinning a long section of fabric. I pinned little sections pleated into threes and did this along the length, this gave the effect I was looking for.

I then cut a strip of fabric and pinned this around the neck line for the collar. I then stitched all this in place.

Next I cut the length of the fabric to what I needed, which was to a length of just below the knee.

I then gathered the hem in to the width I wanted it and pinned another strip of fabric to the hem ans sewed this on, I then sewed the other sides up to complete a closed hem.

Then finally I tried out sleeve ideas.

My final idea for a sleeve is to have the bubbled coat with small tight sleeves. 

I tried this out on the fabric trying to achieve a similar effect to what I wanted with out cutting the fabric before I was sure what I wanted to do.
